Project description
The project involves carrying out research and development work and implementing its results into the company’s production activities. The aim of the work is to develop innovative household appliance control panels and displays using proprietary UV-cured laser-sensitive paint, as well as to create a new laser marking technology.
The project involves six research and development tasks covering industrial research and experimental development work. The scope of work includes the selection of laser-sensitive pigments, research into the laser marking process, development of the paint formula, application testing, and validation of the technology under laboratory and real-world conditions.
Upon completion of the R&D work, the results will be implemented through the construction of a production hall and the purchase and commissioning of modern equipment necessary for production using the developed technology.
Target group
The project is aimed at manufacturers of household appliances and customers using plastic control panels and displays. The project’s results will be used in the production activities of the „Serix” company, contributing to increasing the company’s competitiveness and developing innovative solutions for the industry.
Project objective
The objective of the project is to develop and implement:
- a product innovation in the form of household appliance control panels and displays made using proprietary UV-cured laser-sensitive paint,
- a process innovation involving the use of modern laser marking technology utilizing the developed paint.

Amount of co-financing from European Funds: PLN 3,534,014.56
